I had to install Python, then use the "ai.py" instead of the exe. I tried opening "ai.py" instead of "ai.exe", but it just opened a huge text file in Visual Studio Code that I have no idea what to do with. However, when trying to patch many of my other characters with "ai.exe" (who are equally as simple as she is), I ran into the "UnboundLocalError: local variable 'm0' referenced before assignment" issue repeatedly. After the loading screen, it crashed and gave an error message about "command = fwd" and such. Before that, I kept getting an error message when trying to load an AI match in Mugen. One thing I will note is that I had to change her character directory in f from "character" to "character/AI-character" to get it to work.
For reference, she's able to defeat PotS's Ryu with his human-made AI patch, which is no joke. I was able to patch one of my characters, and she's pretty strong now. In fact, I wasn't very active at that time because I had a thrash metal band and I worked there as a guitarist. about the content and the files, i really feel sad to think that i lost my account there hehehe. the files had quality.
And I probably lost my account because of it. You're right, about that, the site's community is really active and they're nice guys most of the time, like majin kaine and swagga kings, i've talked to them about that, and i was told about the lurker system that works on the site. id say its more like a private guild of professionals than a casual based forum just for wares like mfg or archive or mffa etc the more your rank rises the more stuff you can access and stuff which is cool. you have to contribute and be social to keep an account there which imo is fair. Its an awesome community but you only get out what you put in from my experience. maybe one of the last true communities or mugen teams still active out there from the old days. Newagemugen makes the best stages and screenpacks.
